From the beginning Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. purpose and goal was to serve the needs of the community. Our organization partner local communities & other organizations initiatives to align with our founding principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.



Stork nest & March of Dimes Partnership



Stork's Nest is a 40-year-old partnership between Zeta Phi Beta and March of Dimes. Stork's Nest is a community-based, prenatal, health promotion program for low-income pregnant women. The program is designed to promote prenatal care participation and healthy behaviors during pregnancy through two components-incentives and education.

Stork's Nest clients "earn" points toward incentives, such as maternity or baby care items, through a variety of positive, health-promoting activities attending prenatal care appointments, participating in prenatal education classes, keeping appointments for well-baby visits,, etc.

Zetas Have Heart





Zetas Have Heart is a program designed to increase awareness about heart disease in African-American women and to support members of Zeta and the community in getting fit and becoming more active. To learn more about this program, click here.



Get Engaged





Get Engaged in a national initiative of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that encourages members to take an active role in community organizing. Members are invited to raise awareness on key issues, promoting voter registration and mobilization, building relationships with elected officials, and encouraging qualified women and minorities to pursue community leadership positions. Zeta National Education Foundation





The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. with 501 (c) 3 status is created and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The principle activities and purpose of the trust are to award scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education to conduct community educational programs which will aid in the educational and vocational improvement in individual and community living standards to engage in activities which will aid in the educational development of all women and to engage in any appropriate research related to the purposes of the Foundation scholarship. ​ Learn more about the National Educational Foundation, click here..

Z – H.O.P.E. (Zetas Helping Other People Excel)





Z-HOPE™ is the international service program of the Sorority that has six primary objectives, corresponding measures of success and a mechanism for chapter recognition. ​ To provide culturally appropriate informational activities according to the Z-HOPE program format. To foster collaborative partnerships between community organizations with shared goals. To promote the opportunities for expansion in Stork's Nest programs To facilitate community service and mentor-ship opportunities for members of the organization. To provide an equitable chapter recognition program for community services rendered. To provide a standard reporting format to concentrate efforts and demonstrate the organization's impact.
